Additional parts may be needed such as hoses and gaskets while performing this service. This cleaning is extremely important and many customers have sa ... read more

The Essential Snow Storm Checklist

The Essential Snow Storm Checklist

New York City has seen its fair share of snow this winter. Make sure to follow this check list and you'll be sure to weather any storm! Battery Make sure the battery has been functioning properly and is fully charged. The cold weather may affect its performance, reducing its cranking power. If the battery hasn't been changed in years and is showing signs of weakness, replace it immediately. Windows Maintain visibility at all times.  Fill wiper fluid in order to wipe away salt, dirt and mud. Wipers Replace your wipers every 6 months or so.  Transmission Avoid overworking your car. If your car is stuck in the snow and you're slamming on the gas to get it out, your transmission light might go on. Shoveling your car out instead of trying to slam through a mountain of snow may save you an unnecessary trip to the repair shop. Oil Engine oil can be affected during the cold weather. The wait is over, Dinan S2 Package with big turbo upgrade is now available for the BMW M2

The wait is over, Dinan S2 Package with big turbo upgrade is now available for the BMW M2

Back in August Dinan introduced its initial S1 package for the F87 M2 complete with tune, intake, exhaust, and suspension. However, this initial package was limited from the factory in the power department by an already nearly maxed out turbo. In order to make any real meaningful additional power a new turbo and supporting hardware / tune would be needed.    We started down the big turbo path immediately after that August release and offered a sneak peak of the new M2 with all of its prototype hardware at SEMA this past month. With additional testing out of the way since that initial unveiling we are now happy with the tweaked results and wish to unveil this new S2 M2 package to the masses. Now anyone can assemble the package that makes our engineers drool with anticipation for their own beloved M2. The wait for the fully Dinanized M2 is over.    As always M-Spec Performance i ... read more

Benefits of Replacing Spark Plugs

Benefits of Replacing Spark Plugs

Benefits of Replacing Spark Plugs on your European Vehicle   “What does a spark plug actually do?”   A spark plug is a device that delivers electrical current from an ignition system to the combustion chamber in order to ignite a mixture of fuel and air. Simply said, this is the process that starts your car. Depending on the engine design, replacing a spark plug can be a simple or more demanding task. Because manufacturers deem spark plugs fairly durable and generally don't need maintenance until 30,000 and up to a maximum of 100,000 miles, customers can easily forget to replace them. For simple tips on when to replace your spark plug please visit When to change spark plugs for more information. For many of our customers driving BMW and Mercedes, we replace their spark plugs with Bosch products. Bosch Delivers both high performance and longevity with their spark plugs. If your plugs are ... read more
